About Us

What is the Wardley Wellbeing Hub?

As the profession’s charity, we deeply understand and empathise with the issues facing pharmacy today. In our 2019 research, 97% of you told us you need support with your wellbeing. We listened and we launched the ACTNow campaign. ACTNow ran from May – August 2020, during the global covid-19 pandemic – one of the most challenging times for those working and studying in pharmacy. Through the campaign we encouraged our pharmacy family to:

Allow time for wellbeing

Consider the needs of your colleagues

Take action

We worked with key sponsors across the sector to create the Wardley Wellbeing Hub, the central focus to the ACTNow campaign. Hundreds signed up to the campaign to receive weekly support, and thousands visited the site. The campaign may have ended, but rest assured, our wellbeing support has not. The hub will continue to host a range of resources and pharmacy stories, with the aim of helping you to take control of your wellbeing and support your colleagues and peers to do the same:

  • Self-study wellbeing modules
  • Guidance on managing your mental health
  • Downloadable and printable resources to use with your team
  • Tips and advice from your pharmacy family across the country
  • Info about other useful tools and apps

Why Wardley?

The Wardley Wellbeing Hub has been developed to enhance our Wardley wellbeing service offering. The Wardley wellbeing service was established as a result of a legacy that was left to the charity in 2012 in memory of pharmacy owner Robert Wardley. Robert deeply understood and empathised with the pressures those in the profession faced and wanted his legacy to be used to support pharmacists struggling with stress.
