If you live with somebody who is vulnerable and are concerned that you are putting them at risk, one option could be to attempt to source alternative accommodation.

If you do not have access to alternative accommodation, we have listed some options you may wish to try.

Airbnb hosts are offering free accommodation to NHS staff and healthcare workers. It will be down to each host to decide who they wish to offer accommodation to. You can register your interest HERE.

Homes for NHS is a collective who are organising free accommodation for NHS workers and frontline healthcare professionals (with small contributions requested for maintenance and cleaning). Follow this LINK to request accommodation assistance.

The Landmark Trust offers NHS critical staff accommodation in Landmark’s buildings. Please note they can only offer buildings for critical workers and uses validated by work for an NHS Trust.  To find out more and for contact details see the Landmark Trust website.

NHS employed pharmacists and trainees may find the NHS staff – hotel accommodation document useful as a guide to accessing NHS-reimbursed hotel accommodation.

Many hotels, universities and other buildings are also offering accommodation for frontline healthcare workers. It may be worth looking online and in local press to see what is available.

NHS staff have been given free access to a number of wellbeing apps from now until the end of December 2020 to support their mental health and wellbeing.

Information on how to access this support is available on the NHS Employers website; an NHSmail email account may be required to access some of the apps. There is also support on the NHS Our People website in the form of access to helplines and apps.

Details on how community pharmacists can gain an NHS e-mail address to access these services can be found on the PSNC website.
